Ocean Blue Project - Every Purchase Cleans the Ocean
Using recycled materials and focusing on sustainability wherever possible isn’t the end of the story.
At TekStar Diving, our passion for looking after the world’s oceans extends to supporting the best ocean charities as we try to give back as much as possible to protect the wonders underwater.
We’ve partnered up with the Ocean Blue Project. This leading clean-up organisation is working to rehabilitate and conserve the world’s oceans, beaches, and rivers through clean-ups, stopping pollutants from entering ecosystems, community-driven learning and youth education.
Notably, the Ocean Blue Project has pioneered the removal of microplastics and other debris from the ocean and beaches using sand filter machines to prevent these invisible killers from accumulating in our marine life.
Every sale that TekStar Diving makes contributes to the work of the Ocean Blue Project by removing actual plastic pollution.
● Each recycled ocean plastic water bottle means 5 lbs of plastic will be removed from the ocean.
● Every pair of recycled ocean plastic and ethical bamboo sunglasses or scuba mask removes 10 lbs of plastic.
● Finally, each wing system purchased gets 25 lbs of plastic out of the sea.

Ocean’s Heartbeat Eco Water Bottles
Our Ocean’s Heartbeat Reusable Water Bottles are made from recycled ocean plastic and have specially-sourced bamboo lids and recycled rope handles to make them 100% eco-friendly.
Using repurposed ocean plastic helps clean up the marine environment that all divers love. In addition, you can be assured that our unique designs are completely hygienic and will have an incredibly long service life.

Ocean’s Heartbeat Eco Sunglasses
The line-up of Ocean’s Heartbeat Sunglasses comes in a timeless frame design with a choice of two finishes.
You can pick from a classic frame made from 100% reclaimed ocean plastic or the ultimate in eco-friendliness, our all-natural, handmade bamboo wood frames.
Both designs are supplied with a bamboo storage case and a natural fibre protective bag to keep them safe and clean.
Bamboo is the perfect eco material for our frames and cases (and water bottle lids) as it grows at an impressive rate of over 1 metre a day.
As it does, it produces 35% more oxygen per tonne than regular trees and can critically absorb as much as 12 tonnes of carbon dioxide per hectare per year. It can also be recycled when needed.
All this means that using bamboo gives us products considered some of the most sustainable and eco-positive available anywhere.
Your eyes are protected, of course, as each pair of sunglasses comes with UV400 polarised TAC lenses that block almost 100% of the sun’s UV rays while improving visual clarity and reducing glare from reflective surfaces.
Ocean’s Heartbeat T-Shirts
Even our Eco t-shirts are made from the finest 100% organic cotton with a thread count of 280gsm. The logos and t-shirt labels are screen-printed to reduce unnecessary plastic usage. Are these the most environmentally responsible dive t-shirts out there? Possibly!
